It is Michigan City Rifle Club policy to respect and protect the privacy of our users. This policy statement tells you how we collect information from you and how we use it. Using the Internet should be a fun experience and we want to help you make it just that.

USE OF IP ADDRESSES

An IP address is a number that's automatically assigned to your computer whenever you're surfing the Web. Web servers -- the computers that "serve up" Web pages -- automatically identify your computer by its IP address. For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes and logs only the consumer's IP Address and/or domain name. The server does NOT automatically log any e-mail address. Michigan City Rifle Club server collects IP addresses for the purposes of system administration, to generate reports showing aggregate information, and to audit the use of our site. When guests request pages from the Michigan City Rifle Club site, our server logs the guests' IP addresses and/or domain name. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, which means that a user's session will be logged, but the user remains anonymous to us.

For example, we request personal information for sign-ups for the Michigan City Rifle Club newsletter and other member servies.
